The movie made me cry several times. It had a really good message in addition to a good storyline. The message of God, family, friends and even a good horse. To always be thankful! It also showed that when Casey resorted to other means other than God and family, to resolve a problem, that’s when he got into trouble including jail and cheating on his girlfriend which caused him a lot of pain. In addition to his not being able to share his PTSD and the loss of his friends. The grandfather played an integral role in the foundation of the family. Regardless of the grandpa‘s life or loss of his son he always resorted to prayer and that love of God was passed down through his son and then his grandson.

The film was excellent; however, at times the music was louder than the words spoken. It certainly brought to my heart the tremendous heartache and trauma that so many service personnel currently live with. The PTSD is such a heavy one on each. I thank the producers for this film that addresses the need for us to serve our Living Christ. Thank you for presenting this. We will look forward to future productions and pray God’s blessing and prosperity on this ministry. God is certainly our ONLY Hope in this crazy world we all live in. Again, Thank you.

The movie cast was phenomenal. I was made to feel connected to every actor and actress. I particularly loved "The Shack" moment connecting with his military cohorts. Because you have gone through some of the life experiences presented, you could not help crying for your past experiences and those who are currently going through tough emotional distress. I really enjoyed it for the most part. Some of the actors (Esp the 2 doctors in the Hospital) were not that great of actors. Peace River was one of the most incredible movies in a very, very long time. My teenage boys were riveted by every scene. The children today are surrounded by talks of war, and Peace River put God in the center of this. I am so grateful for being gifted this film experience. I used to show films for mandated diversity courses in the University of California. I could see Peace River used in multicultural film discussions nationwide. Our diversity is what makes America great, and Peace River captured brotherly love in the storm of war so very well. Thank you for such a moving film experience!

I appreciate the fact that the movie highlighted the heroes of our military, but it definitely was not a family movie, and included values that I wouldn’t want my children to watch, like kissing before marriage, abs, unforgiveness, until the end of the movie. I feel like there could’ve been a stronger Christian emphasis woven through the movie as well. The music also was very intense throughout the movie, very melancholy. Some of the relationships could’ve been clearer as well, like how Maria was in her family where associated with the main characters. Overall, the movie left me feeling depressed afterwards, and I had to shake that feeling off before I went to bed. I do appreciate the real life situations and themes, I just wasn’t expecting to watch a dark, depressing Christian movie on a Friday night. Nevertheless, thank you for this free movie. My prayers that he touched and reached a lot of lives for the kingdom.
